project radio sida - 2003-2009

In 2003 ALT was invited by the Committee Nationale de Lutte Contre le SIDA (CNLS), the national HIV AIDS awareness council in Madagascar, to build on the success of ‘Project Radio’ and develop HIV radio programming for the south. The project produced over 78 specialised radio broadcasts on HIV themes, a mini soap opera, distributed 2000 solar/wind up radios and set up listening groups across Tulear and Fianarantsoa ex-Provinces for the national HIV radio campaign.
